OUR STORY
DELIVERING SERVICES AT THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE LEVEL
Our Story
Stretched was born from a simple but powerful idea: everyone deserves to move better and feel better.
Our Clinical Director, Craig McHugh has worked with thousands of patients, ranging from NHS referrals to elite athletes in football, boxing, and rugby. Through this experience, one thing became clear: mobility was being overlooked. Many people were living with stiffness, discomfort, and limited movement and not because they lacked motivation, but because they didn’t know what to do, how to do it safely and effectively or where to start.
Craig holds an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University, an HND in Sports Therapy, and advanced certification in Dynamic Assisted Stretching through IGCT, IICT, WMF, and WMC. After founding and operating successful physiotherapy clinics across Scotland, he recognised a gap in the wellness space, a place dedicated purely to helping people improve the way they move. That’s how the concept for Stretched came to life.
To deliver stretching at the highest standard, Craig developed the Stretched Academy, a specialised in-house training and certification program for our Stretch Therapists. This ensures that every stretch is delivered with expert care, precision, and purpose.
At Stretched, we’re here to help you move freely, live fully, and feel your best, one stretch at a time.
